A tribute to one my favorite models - A!

I am so grateful for my baby. She may have turned 3 a few months ago she will always be my baby. She has so much joy. When she walks, she has a bounce in her step and always has a huge smile on her face. She is usually patient and lets me use her as a guinie pig when I am playing with a new accessory, experimenting with lighting or practicing a new technique. I sure love you. Below are a few of my favorites.

Jumping on board with a photography blog!

I decided to start a photography blog so clients can see their pictures a few days sooner and prospects can have an even better idea of what they can expect from a photo shoot. If you found this blog without yet viewing my Web site (http://www.lizestudio.com/) let me intoduce myself! My name is Liz Evans and we just moved down to sunny Scottsdale from Modesto, CA a few weeks ago. I am excited to be a part of the community and becoming involved. Hopefully you will get to know me just a bit by reading through the next few paragraphs.
I would like to describe my style as an honest "this is real" feeling. For me, the beauty is in the natural lighting and the expression. No matter what the subject, a brand new baby, children playing, great families, I really strive to reflect in my portraits the best of whom I photograph. Everyone is unique. Our real job as photographers - what we love and what keeps our job fun - is the creative process of working with you to create the portrait that matches your personality, a portrait that you will love and treasure. I love to capture the little glimpses of love between the parent and child or the playfulness between siblings. I also think it is important to capture traditional portraits, timeless ones that you will enjoy looking at and sharing with others.
I have always had a passion for fine art. I won my first art contest in 2nd grade when I was in speech. It was a poster and had to include the words "Helping Each Other Speak Better." I beat out other kids from throughout the Sacramento area and was so proud when my art was showcased. I took numerous art classes through high school and always enjoyed being creative. When I started at Utah Valley State College I majored in Graphic Design. It was a way to enjoy my passion and express myself while making some money at the same time.
The last few years I have been studying photography and practicing on friends and family until I felt confident enough to open Liz E. Studio. Using the design concepts of composition, color and lighting, I love to capture the moment and manipulate it slightly to create brilliant works of art. In addition, composing photobooks along with photography allows me to present the entire shoot in a way for you, family and friends to enjoy. It also allows me to dive into my other passion of design.
I hope you will call me at 209.573.4534 and give me the opportunity to take photos of your family and capture some fun memories! Since I am new to the Scottsdale area I am offering 3 very reasonable packages to get the word out that I am in town. These prices are good thru November 30. I will make every effort to get photos back quickly so they will be ready for Christmas gifts.
Sincerely-
